WALLS
The rock wall, lovingly formed, attracts my eyes with its embellishment of snow. I think of how skilled the hands were that created it. I wonder what kind of soul directed those hands. Suddenly my mind shifts to walls, in general. There are so many types. Some walls are retaining. Some divide property—and people. Sometimes it’s good when a wall comes down. Some walls are emotional, seeming to protect us from hurt. Some are made to be solely beautiful. Maybe it’s good for us to notice what kind of walls we’ve created in our lives.
