Kunal Narayan Uniyal Talks Unanswered

Digital Cover UnansweredWhen the world was created, it was void and the day world will end, there will be void. But in between are, we humans. Most superior, most advanced, most creative but most in pain, most in suffering, most in troubles. Reason being, that we have discovered everything, explored whole universe, invented equipment’s for our mortal pleasure but never could find peace, solace in our heart. Why is there pain and sufferings, why do we die, why are we not immortals, who will tell us what is right and what is wrong, are among those many questions which bother us, hassle us and pester our day to day life.  We know the questions but the answers remain uncertain and undiscovered.

Unanswered is one such attempt to explore these answers from the heart of humanity. All lies within, we are the carrier of universe, we are the builder of hope, we are seekers who are continuously in search of divine. What is needed is, to pause from this myopic life and dive to the depths of your heart, your soul and find all answers residing in you.

I venerate  Agni, the high priest of the sacrifice, the divine, the ministrant, who presents the oblation (to the gods), and is the possessor of great wealth. – Rig Veda

Agni or fire is the kindling of our soul in the pitch dark kingdom of falsehood, which gives us strength, vision and direction towards truth. Derived from the oldest scriptures in the world, unanswered paves way to the new world, new order, new reign of bliss where everything melts into our doings, irrespective of right or wrong, just our doings. Where death turns out to be just a transformation of energy

Death arrives in the midst of life,

summer autumn or winter–

sleeping innocence or passionate youth–

all embrace its eternal slumber.

Where walking alone is a sign of progress not suppress

Walk Alone!

(For Rabindranath Tagore)

If they answer not to thy call,
walk alone!
Walk alone! Walk Alone! Walk Alone!

If they are afraid and cower mutely
facing the wall,
O thou of evil luck,
open thy mind and
speak out alone!

Where morality is all about performing, following Gods will

The theory of the Gita that, if actions are performed with an unattached mind, then their defects cannot touch the performer, distinctly implies that the goodness or badness of an action does not depend upon external effects of the action, but upon the inner motive of action

Where pain and sufferings are stepping stone to moksha

Pain and suffering are always inevitable for a large intelligence and a deep heart. The really great men must, I think, have great sadness on earth. ― Fyodor Dostoyevsky   Crime and Punishment

These are among vast many questions answered by Unanswered. From “You and I” to “The vedic chant” , it is a journey back to from where we  originated from and discovering our faintest memory of truth and beyond which existed but we lost bowing to the begging need of materialistic world. It was always written, it was always said, all what was needed was to find those hidden meanings in those ancient scripture, vedas, upanishads, Bhagavad Gita, purans. Only a worthy heart will find me, only a true soul could discover me. These scriptures are pathways to heaven and serenity. Once meditated mercilessly, Unanswered will be answered.

I am but thy instrument

This is his work, me being just a medium to spread his words around.

“So Andhe Cit Tamasi Jyotir Vidat”

He Finds the Light Even in Blind Darkness

Rig Veda

Title: Unanswered by Kunal Narayan Uniya

Synopsis Author Unanswered

Unanswered, I know it is quite an unusual kind of title for a book of poems barring a few articles. Before I say anything more about my book, I would like to say something about myself and my thought process.

Born and brought up in Dehradun, I have always shared a close affinity with nature. I used to love, I still do, watching nature and ponder how it can be loving and cruel at the same time. I grew up with my thoughts and took to sailing, a job were I fit in perfectly. My roving mind now had more to ponder about.

Often have I stood alone on the deck of my ship, feeling the vibrations of a surging ocean underneath and watching the sky change its colours and mood without any indication. At times I have been frightened…. bewildered… mesmerized…all at once. I respect nature in all its aspects…its benevolence… its fury…its colours… its stillness…its suddenness…its unpredictability…everything!

Then I look at us…I mean we humans…we are the most superior…the most intelligent…the most progressive of all living creatures and yet the most miserable of all living creatures so long as we are shrouded in false ego and ignorance. Nature has its laws fixed and does not discriminate. It is we who draw what we call bad luck. I quote Cassius from Julius Ceaser” fault, dear Brutus is not in our stars, but in ourselves, that we are underlings…”All that is required is an insight into ourselves and faith in divine providence. Here lies the crux of my book ‘unanswered’.

Unanswered is all about finding the answers which lay deeply hidden in the core of our hearts but we fail to discover it as we are covered with fog of ego and desires. Unanswered is all about revealing those answers.

Non fiction cum poetic novel are based on life as question and answers. Each poem is supported by an article explaining the poem and reason behind writing same.

So much of questions in me which in turn coming from this mortal world led me to find answers for same and giving solace in this painful world. Why is there pain and sufferings, why do we die, what is morality, how can we become immortals are among those many questions which one will find answers to in my book in a very very simplified form. If my writing can bring peace into someone’s life that would solve the purpose for which book was written.

From where it came there shall it go
