For an easy weeknight meal, save and freeze leftover sauces from previous meals in ice cube trays. The cubes can be reheated in a sauté pan when you need a quick sauce –David Burke, source Maggi Cooks TNT.
For the love of Lemons!
Lemons are cool for a number of reasons, here are just a few:
- A natural energizer (I found that in all citrus fruits).
- Boosts your immune system
- Balances pH
- Flush out unwanted materials
- Decrease wrinkles and blemishes
- Relieve tooth pain
- Relieves respiratory problems
- Cures throat infections
- Excellent for weight loss
- Reduces fever
- Blood purifier
Nature’s flu shot: Ingredients: 6 fresh lemons, 1 bulb garlic, 2 tsp. ginger powder, 2 tbsp honey, 3 cups pineapple juice, ¼ tsp cayenne powder.
Blend all ingredients and store in glass jar. Have 1 cup 4 times a day till symptoms are resolved.
Totally Teas!
I don’t know anyone who drinks more tea than I do (a least 4 cups a day). I have never lived in a house without a kettle. At any given time you can find a number of these in my cupboard. Here are the benefits:
Green tea: Boosts metabolism and contains antioxidants
White tea: Antibacterial and antiviral properties
Black tea: Help lower blood pressure and heart disease
Mint: Helps bloating and aids digestion.
Happy drinking! Hope you enjoyed as usual I look forward to your comments.
