AT SUNSET

Capturing a spectacular sunset with my camera makes it now last longer than the fleeting moments when it sunk before my eyes.  My heart softens as I look at the pastels and the reflection of the sun’s warmth in the cold water.  Just as when I was actually there, I can feel the breeze and smell the fresh air.  This gift of nature presents a moment to reflect upon the day, the year, or our lives, allowing us to appreciate whatever treasures they have held.
