Anna Lores started writing romance as a by-product of insomnia. After a year of late night reading, she borrowed her son’s laptop after he went to bed and set about breathing life to her very own characters. After a month, she was surprised with a new laptop of her own to pursue her dreams.

With a B.A. in English Literature and a desire to fill her world with wonderful stories she and her close friends could not just talk about, but gush over, she shed her job as mom of three in the midnight hours and began her journey into the publishing world.

Now, Anna is a multi-published author of spicy contemporary and paranormal romance [novels].

Most people don’t know that when I came down with insomnia I became a writer. I read one to three books a night for more than a year when my husband suggested I put my English Literature degree to use and write my own novel. I took the challenge and began writing anytime I had a free second from homeschooling my three children.

Reading so much over the years and having a background in literature analysis and writing, I took the time during the late night hours when everyone else fell into dreamland to figure out what kind of story I had a passion to write.

I love a LOT of drama. I love spicy, steamy, hot and heavy sensual bedroom scenes. I love strong secondary characters who bring understanding to why the main characters do what they do and who I can develop into a novel. And I love adding innovative twists within each story to keep readers wondering what will happen next. So, that’s what I attempt to do whether I’m writing contemporary erotic romance or paranormal erotic romance.

Ella’s Triple Pleasure, turned all the other erotic romance novels I’ve read on its side. It deserves a category on its own like fantasy erotic romance. At times it was hard to follow because there are so many characters to keep track of, and their names are similar.

The writing was descriptive and can easily put the reader into the character’s mind. I love that it was not written in the first person.
